(Daniel 12:9, 13; Matthew 7:14; Revelation 1:3; 3:8, 20; 22:18-19)
In the last chapter of Daniel, the angel of God told Daniel that His words were “sealed up until the time of the end.”1Dan 12:9 In the final chapter of the Book of Revelation, the Angel of God warns us “not to seal the words of the prophecy of this book.”2Rev 22:10
Today, we are at the end time, and we understand the meaning of all His words. The meanings of all His prophesies have been revealed. His words are no longer sealed.
The Angel of God began the Book of Revelation with a promise: “Blessed is he who reads … and heeds the things that are written in it, for the time is near.”3Rev 1:3
But the same Angel of God concluded the Book of Revelation with a warning for all of us: “If anyone adds to the prophecy of this book, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life.”4Rev 22:19
These are sobering words. All those with a pure heart will understand this prophecy, but if anyone takes away from this prophecy, he will be judged along with those who are lawless. He will receive the plagues in this book.
But Jesus said to the Philadelphians, “Behold, I have put before you an open door that no one can shut, because you have kept My Word.”5Rev 3:8
When we see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the Daniel the prophet, we need to flee to the mountain of the Lord’s house because there we will find our salvation.
Jesus said, “I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens it, I will come in and dine with him, and he with Me”6Rev 3:20 … “But the way that leads to life is narrow, and only a few find it.”7Matt 7:14
“As for you [Daniel], go your way till the end, for you shall rest and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days.”8Dan 12:13
