May they all be one
The removal of lawlessness and the return to the Gospel of the Christ, will unite all believers in one.
In John 17, Jesus prayed that all who believe in Him would be one, sanctified by the truth, “that the world may know that You sent Me” (John 17:23).
To Hosea, God said,
“I will cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her New Moons, her Sabbaths, all her appointed feasts… I will allure her, I will bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfort to her . . . she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth. . .the earth will answer with grain, with new wine and with oil, they will answer Jezreel” (Hosea 2:11,22).
God will end the feast days, and religious observances created by men, and He will have a true fellowship with man. This is the worship of God in spirit and truth.
Hosea called his son, Jezreel, meaning “God scatters,” referring to the multitude of denominations that now exist. But God said the earth would answer with grain, with new wine and with oil; the Gospel of a communion of God in the bread and the wine, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Ezekiel prophesied that God would gather His people together under one Shepherd, “I will establish one shepherd over them, and He shall feed them – My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd” (Ezekiel 34:23). Jesus said, “I am the Good Shepherd . . . there will be one flock and one shepherd” (John 10:16).
The Church of all Nations
God promised Isaiah that in the last days, the mountain of the LORD’s house would be established on the top of the mountains, and all the nations would flow to it (Isaiah 2:2).
The end time Church will be a Church all nations.
“I will save My people from the land of the east, and from the land of the west . . in that Day, it shall be that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in both summer and winter it shall occur. And the Lord shall be King over all the earth, in that Day, it shall be the Lord one, and His Name one” (Zechariah 14:9).
The City of Truth
Isaiah continued, “Many people shall come and say; “come let us go up to the mountain of the LORD; to the House of the God of Jacob, He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.”
Zechariah said that Jerusalem will be called be “the City of Truth” (Zechariah 8:3).
Isaiah went on, saying, “He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (Isaiah 2:4).
In 1 Thessalonians 5:3, we read, “for when they say, “peace and safety” then sudden destruction comes upon them…” In the days before Satan is released to deceive the nations again, there will be a time of peace and righteousness on the earth.
The Greatness of the Kingdoms of the Earth Shall be given to the People
In Daniel 7, we are told that “the greatness of the kingdoms of the under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.” (v27)
By “given to the people,” Daniel means democracy. The image in Chapter 2, represented the power of Kings against the saints. This was destroyed in the Reformation and replaced by democracy, and the rule of the saints.
This idea is described dramatically in Revelation 19:17-21. Before the beast and the false prophet are thrown into the lake of fire, the birds that fly in midheaven, “eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of commanders and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and flesh of all men, both free men and slaves, and small and great.
The Apostle Paul said that the end will come, “when He has abolished all rule and authority and power . . . for He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet” (1 Corinthians 15:24-25).
In that Day, Seven Women will take hold of one Man
In Chapter 4, Isaiah described the end time Church with excitement, saying, “in that Day, seven women will take hold of one Man, saying, ‘ we will eat our own food and wear our own apparel, only let us be called by Your Name, and take away our reproach.”
And Zechariah said, “Ten men will grasp the garment of a Jew” (Zechariah 8:23).
After 1,000 Years, Satan will be Released
After Christ’s victory over the beast and the false prophet, Satan will be released to deceive the nations once again, and gather them together for the Battle at Armageddon.
