The Third and Fourth Trumpets

(John 4:14; 7:38-39; Revelation 8:10-11; 16:4-11)

The third and fourth trumpets complete the cleansing of the kingdom of heaven.

In the third trumpet, a star named “Wormwood” falls to the earth and poisons the rivers and springs of the kingdom of the beast.1Rev 8:10-11 Rivers and springs are an analogy for the Spirit. Jesus said, “He who believes in Me … from his innermost being will flow rivers of living water”2Joh 7:38 and “the water I give him will become in him a spring of living water.”3Joh 4:14

As the end-time Sanctified Church prospers, others will pray for the holy spirit, but they will receive the spirit of a demon.

The fourth trumpet completes the cleansing of the sanctuary. The final third of the kingdom of heaven is darkened, and those in kingdom of the beast gnaw their tongues in pain.4Rev 16:10
