Ezekiel 16

The Great Harlot – Revelation 17 and 18

Ezekiel 16:10-13
I adorned you with ornaments –  the Great Harlot in Revelation was “adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls”, Rev 17:4.

Ezekiel 16:26-28
you committed harlotry with the Egyptians…the Philistines…the Assyrians – the great harlot…”with whom the kings (or kingdoms) of the earth committed fornication” Rev 17:2.

Ezekiel 16:29
as far as the land of the trader (or merchant), Chaldea – “the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury,” Rev 18:3.

Ezekiel 16:39
they shall also strip you or your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry and leave you naked and alone – as fulfilled by the Ten Kings in Revelation: “these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked,” Rev 17:16.

Ezekiel 16:41
they shall burn your houses with fire – see “and burn her with fire” in Rev 17:16.

Ezekiel 16:60
I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you – see also Hosea 2:14-15,18. This is the promised New Covenant, or restoration of the New Covenant, after the Great Harlot has been judged.
